Dr Momo Kromah is a Lecturer in Management at the School of Business, UQ Business School, University of Queensland. He holds a Masters (Coursework) and a Doctor of Philosophy from The University of Queensland. His PhD thesis, completed in 2017 at UQ Business School, is titled "Workspace territoriality: role, process and consequences in the context of organisational change." Kromah is available for higher degree by research supervision and teaches management courses including MGTS2604 and MGTS7603.
Kromah's research specializations include positive organizational behavior and emotions, organizational change, psychological ownership, employee retention in mergers and acquisitions, employees’ emotions and identities during change, and workspace territoriality. He is an affiliate of the UQ Cyber Research Centre, contributing to initiatives such as minimizing the risk of data breaches in virtual workspaces and examining cybercrime, employee productivity, and wellbeing in hybrid work environments. Major publications encompass the journal article "Commitment to organizational change: the role of territoriality and change-related self-efficacy" (Journal of Business Research, 2024, co-authored with Oluremi B. Ayoko and Neal M. Ashkanasy); "The impact of psychological ownership on employee retention in mergers and acquisitions" (Human Resource Management Review, 2020, co-authored with William Y. Degbey, Peter Rodgers, and Yaakov Weber); book chapter "A five-level model of positive organizational behavior and emotions" (Advancing positive organizational behaviour, 2025, co-authored with Neal M. Ashkanasy); and "A qualitative study of employees’ emotions and identities during change" (Organizational behaviour and the physical environment, 2019, co-authored with Oluremi B. Ayoko, Neal M. Ashkanasy, and Gemma L. Irving). He has presented at prominent conferences, including "Onboarding, learning transfer and job performance in hybrid work environments" (Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management, 2022), "Toward a theory of Intercultural Intelligence in Organisations" (2019), "Workplace territoriality in the context of organizational change" (2018), and others at ANZAM, SIOP, and IACM. His scholarship has received approximately 72 citations, influencing management and organizational behaviour studies.
