About Nasheet

Nasheet Tarik serves as an Assistant Professor in the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department at M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, Mumbai, where she has been employed since August 2007, initially as a Lecturer. Previously, she worked as a Lecturer in the Electronics and Telecommunication Department at Rizvi College of Engineering, Bandra, from July 2005 to July 2007. Her academic background includes an M.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumbai, completed in 2014 with 73.19%. She obtained her B.E. in Electronics and Communications from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra, in 2003, achieving 81.94%. She also completed her Intermediate (ICSE) in 1997 with 74.6% and High School (ICSE) in 1995 with 72% from City Montessori School, Lucknow.

Nasheet Tarik's research interests include Signal Processing, Image Processing, Internet of Things, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. Key publications feature "Image Transmission over OFDM System using Trigonometric Transforms" presented at the IEEE International Conference on Communication, Information and Computing Technology in 2015. She has co-authored recent works such as "Bridging the Gaps in AI-Driven Healthcare: Enhancing Interpretability, Affordability, and Security for Scalable Patient-Centered Solutions" in the Journal of Information Systems Engineering and Management in 2025, along with papers on blockchain implementation and security, and efficient deep learning models for multimodal sentimental analysis. A Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education, she has organized various workshops and seminars, including the TI DRISHTI Online Contest in 2020, a workshop on PCB Design in 2019, seminars on Internet of Things in 2017, and Anxiety and Stress Management in 2019. Her teaching portfolio covers undergraduate courses like Digital Signal Processing, Signals and Systems, Digital Communication, Wireless Communication, Mobile Communication, Electronic Product Design, and Database Management Systems. She has participated in training programs on Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and electronic system design.
