In her research showcased at the 2023 School of Business Research Showcase, Tui presented a poster titled 'Integrating theory towards optimizing the use of antibiotics,' a case study based on interviews with 20 physicians from low- and low-to-mid-income hospitals in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The study explored physicians' perceived behavioral control, self-efficacy in prescribing, social influences from patients, peers, and pharmaceutical companies, knowledge gaps, and attitudes contributing to misuse. Her 2024 poster, 'Community Pharmacy Retailers in Bangladesh: Perspectives on Antibiotic Dispensing Practices,' analyzed interviews with 20 retailers, revealing demographics such as gender distribution, educational and occupational backgrounds, and challenges including user demands for antibiotics without prescriptions, financial pressures, limited training, and knowledge deficiencies on antibiotic pros and cons, which exacerbate resistance. She has contributed abstracts to conferences, including 'Antibiotics misuse: External constraints on physicians' in Infection, Disease & Health (2024, affiliated with UNSW Canberra) and 'Clostridioides Difficile Infection and Antibiotic Usage at a Regional Hospital in Australia: a Case-Control Study' (2024). Additionally, Tui co-authored 'Healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic: Experiences of doctors and nurses in Bangladesh' in The International Journal of Health Planning and Management (2021, volume 36, supplement 1, pages 174-181), which has received 39 citations. During her time at UNSW, she served in student leadership roles at Arc Canberra as Public Relations and Communication Officer in 2021 and EDI Officer in 2022. She currently works as a Senior Learning & Development Officer at the Department of Social Services in Canberra.
