Rate My Professor Natalie Burger

Prior to joining the University of Otago, Dr. Burger practiced for 14 years at Texas Fertility Center in Austin, Texas, where she treated patients with infertility using various medical and surgical interventions, trained obstetrics and gynaecology registrars, conducted community outreach programs, and performed research. During this tenure, she was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern and advanced to partner status at the center. Her special clinical interests encompass hysteroscopic surgery, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), hypothalamic amenorrhea, and recurrent pregnancy loss. Dr. Burger has authored publications including 'Lithopedion: laparoscopic diagnosis and removal,' published in Fertility and Sterility in 2007, and contributed to studies such as comparisons of vaginal progesterone gel versus intramuscular progesterone. She has been selected as a Super Doctor by Texas Monthly and served as program director for the Southwest Fertility Forum conference. Currently, as a Fertility Specialist and Endocrinologist at Fertility Associates in Dunedin and Queenstown, she supports advanced fertility care across the lower South Island.
