Dr. Neeraj Gupta is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Business Management at the Khalsa Institute of Management and Technology for Women (KIMTW) in Ludhiana, Punjab. Affiliated with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), KIMTW offers programs such as MBA, BBA, MCA, BCA, and B.Com (Hons.). Dr. Gupta has been serving in her current role since 2006, overseeing these management and computer application programs. Earlier in her career, from 1995 to 1997, she worked as a Lecturer for senior classes in management at Shri Ram Sewa Samiti Senior Secondary School in Fatehabad, Haryana.
Dr. Gupta holds a Ph.D. in Finance from CT University (2023), an MBA in Finance from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL), Pune (2014), an M.Phil from Periyar University (2010), a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) from Panjab University (2006), a B.Ed from Kurukshetra University (1995), an M.Com from Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak (1994), and a B.Com from Kurukshetra University (1992). Her research specializations include green banking, awareness of banking services among rural customers, mobile banking, and net banking. Key publications include: "Awareness of Rural Customer about Different Green Banking Services in Punjab, India" co-authored with Ritu Mittal Gupta and Anjali Negi in the Asian Journal of Agricultural Extension, Economics & Sociology (2024); "Poor use of Green Banking Services by adult and elderly: call for reform" with Kawalpreet Kaur (2023); "A study on awareness of Green Banking services among customers" with Kawalpreet Kaur (2023); "Relationship of socio-economic variables with green banking" with S. Sharma (2021); and "Awareness about mobile banking and net banking among rural customers" with S. Sharma (2021). She has actively participated in organizing college seminars, student tours, inter-college competitions, and functions. In August 2024, she coordinated a financial literacy program session under the 'Finlit' project by Vivriti Capital and National Institute of Securities Markets. Dr. Gupta also serves as Convener of the institute's Anti-Ragging Committee.
