Street specializes in business analytics, data mining, machine learning, and artificial intelligence applications in healthcare, including cancer care, symptom management, clinical decision support, and adverse drug effect detection. He has published more than 110 peer-reviewed articles with over 11,000 Google Scholar citations and obtained more than $4 million in external funding. Key publications include "Gaussian process regression and classification using international disease classification codes as covariates" (Stat, 2023), "Optimizing warfarin dosing using deep reinforcement learning" (Journal of Biomedical Informatics, 2023), "DILSA+: Predicting urban dispersal events through deep survival analysis with enhanced urban features" (ACM Transactions on Intelligent Systems and Technology, 2021), "Predicting user posting activities in online health communities with deep learning" (ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems, 2020), and "Modeling and maximizing influence diffusion in social networks for viral marketing" (Applied Network Science, 2018).
