Nicole Farrell serves as a Professional Practice Fellow in the School of Physiotherapy within the Division of Health Sciences at the University of Otago. She contributes to teaching in the School of Physiotherapy and practices as a physiotherapist at the University of Otago's Dunedin Clinics. Nicole demonstrates enthusiasm and interest across all areas of physiotherapy. Her professional background is primarily in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, developed through experience in private practice and providing services on the sidelines for multiple sporting codes. She specializes in treating injuries using directional bias methods, incorporating DMA Clinical Pilates in both clinical and gym environments. A key aspect of her approach is patient education, emphasizing the role of personal strength and conditioning programs in injury self-management and prevention.
