Dr. Nidhi Jain serves as a Professor in the Department of Physiology at Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Dehradun. She holds MBBS and MD qualifications and has been a permanent faculty member since joining on August 21, 2006. Her research interests encompass neurophysiology, physiology of yoga, and geriatric medicine. As part of the Physiology department, which features advanced undergraduate and postgraduate laboratories including haematology, clinical, experimental, mammalian, respiratory, cardiac, TMT, power lab, and yoga & biofeedback units, Dr. Jain contributes to teaching and research in the normal functioning of living structures. She is involved in undergraduate teaching through lectures, practical demonstrations, tutorials, and early clinical exposure, as well as postgraduate seminars, journal clubs, thesis work, and interdepartmental postings.
Dr. Nidhi Jain has co-authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals focusing on physiological parameters, stress, obesity, cardiovascular function, pulmonary assessments, and sensory functions.
