Dr. Nijaguna G S is Professor and Head of the Department of Information Science and Engineering at S.E.A. College of Engineering & Technology, Bengaluru, India, where he joined on August 25, 2009. He also serves as Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, established in the academic year 2020-2021, and as Dean of Admissions. The Department of Information Science and Engineering, started in 2007, offers a Bachelor's program affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, with an intake of 60 students and facilities including centralized laboratories equipped with the latest software tools.

Dr. Nijaguna G S holds a B.E., M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from B V B College of Engineering & Technology, Hubli, and a Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. His research focuses on machine learning, neural networks and artificial intelligence, supervised learning, feature extraction, unsupervised learning, advanced machine learning, machine intelligence, KNN, text mining, and applied artificial intelligence.
