Prof. P. C. Lakshmi Narayanan is the Dean of Academics and Professor of Finance and Law at Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai, a premier business school emphasizing excellence and ethics. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance from Bharathidasan University, Trichy, Master of Business Administration in Finance and Human Resources, Master of Commerce from the University of Madras, and Bachelor of Law also from the University of Madras. With over 26 years of teaching experience in postgraduate programs focusing on finance and law subjects, Prof. Narayanan started his career as a Research Analyst and Sub-broker in a brokerage firm before joining academia. He has been associated with LIBA since November 1999, initially as Assistant Professor of Decision Sciences until November 2001, and has progressed to his current leadership role as Dean - Academics.

Prof. Narayanan teaches courses including Financial Management, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Derivatives, Behavioural Finance, and Legal Aspects of Business. His research specializations include Financial Markets and Investment, Derivatives, and Legal Aspects of Business, with several papers published in refereed journals and presentations at national and international conferences.
