P. Venkata Rama Raju serves as Professor and Vice Principal in the Department of Information Technology at Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women in Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, a position he has held since joining the institution on December 3, 2005. With a robust academic foundation, he earned his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from SRKR Engineering College under Andhra University in 1996, followed by an M.Tech in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in 2005. Currently pursuing a Ph.D., Raju brings over 22 years of teaching experience and 5 years in industry to his role. He is actively involved in institutional administration as Vice Principal and maintains professional affiliations as a life member of the Computer Society of India (CSI), Indian Society for Technical Education (IST), and the Institute of Engineers.
Raju's research focuses on Data Mining, with contributions spanning intrusion detection, blockchain, machine learning applications, and secure data aggregation in IoT. Notable publications include “RL-BOT—Reinforcement Learning Based Billfish Optimization Technique for Secured Data Aggregation in Internet of Things” published in Peer-to-Peer Networking and Applications by Springer in April 2025; “Multiclass Membrane Gash Uncovering and Taxonomy Using Amalgam Features Selection Based on Deep CNN” in the Journal of Theoretical and Applied Information Technology in October 2024; “Intelligent disease analysis using machine learning” in Smart Innovation Systems and Technologies in 2023; “Cluster Query Optimization Technique Using Blockchain” in the proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Cognitive and Intelligent Computing (Springer, 2023); and “Distributed Coding For Intrusion Detection Using Resource Segmentation” in IOSR Journal of Computer Engineering in 2017. Additionally, he has co-authored works on recent trends in blockchain technology (2021) and presented papers at conferences such as the IEEE-sponsored International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Control in 2017. In 2024, two patents listing him as an inventor were published: “Method for Secure Cloud Data Storage with Multi-Factor Authentication and AI Monitoring” (Application no. 202441075561) and “System and Method for Privacy-Preserving Data Analytics in Distributed Cloud Environments” (Application no. 202441075547).
