Line Managers' Repurposing of Employee Voice Mechanisms' (2021, British Journal of Management), 'How Difficulties in Upward Voice Lead to Lateral Voice: A Case Study of a Healthcare Organisation' (2023, Personnel Review), and guest editorial 'Employee Voice and Silence in the Health Sector' (2024, Journal of Health Organization and Management). As Chief Investigator on Australian Research Council Linkage Project LP190100186, she explores employee voice in healthcare. Mowbray has contributed to Inclusive Futures: Reimagining Disability projects as Project Manager, investigating meaningful employment for people with disabilities.
