Peppino Fazio holds a graduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Calabria, awarded in 2004, and a Ph.D. in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the same institution, awarded in 2008. He serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosystems (DSMN) at Ca' Foscari University of Venice and as a senior researcher at the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava.
His research focuses on wireless networks, cellular networks, vehicular networks, QoS architectures, mobile ad-hoc networks, quantum key distribution networks, and related areas. He has co-authored more than 150 papers in international journals and conference proceedings. Fazio received the Intel Business Challenge Award in 2013.
