His primary role encompasses delivering high standards of learning and teaching, educational design and delivery, and providing educational leadership. Wagstaff oversees the first-year unit Marketing Theory and Practice and holds a teaching specialisation in digital marketing, instructing thousands of students annually. Known affectionately as "Wags" by students, his innovative teaching methods incorporate social media, instructor- and student-created videos, discussion forums, SMS messaging, and podcasting to engage large cohorts and foster independent learning.
