Rate My Professor Phill Brown

Brown has made key technical contributions to several University of Otago research projects, including the hardware design for the FastFix GPS wildlife tracking tag used for albatross studies, solar-powered sensors for continuous livestock position monitoring, and wave-powered small-scale generation systems for ocean exploration. He is a co-author on 'Solar-powered sensor for continuous monitoring of livestock position' presented at the 2015 IEEE Sensors Applications Symposium and 'Wave-powered small-scale generation systems for ocean exploration' from OCEANS 2006 Asia Pacific. His work is frequently acknowledged in departmental publications related to sensor development and dynamical systems research. Brown is affiliated with the Physics Department on GitHub as phillb.
