Rate My Professor Pia Findlay

Ms Pia Findlay is a Lecturer in the Department of Industrial Design within the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture at the University of Johannesburg. She holds an MA in Design from the University of Johannesburg. Her academic work centres on industrial design, with interests in design education, human-centred design, and design for sustainability.

Findlay coordinates the Wom+n in Tech programme at the University of Johannesburg and has mentored student projects in areas such as maternal health solutions and behavioural design approaches to product acceptance. She has contributed to research on topics including radical innovation and the acceptance of new menstrual products in South Africa through behavioural design.
