Singh has received numerous awards, including the 2025 ASME Bergles-Rohsenow Young Investigator Award in Heat Transfer—the first for a University of Tennessee faculty member in the award's 22-year history—for contributions to thermal transport in architectured materials and experimental thermal diagnostics; the 2025 “The Momentum” Faculty Award from the MABE department at UTK; the 2021 Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award; the 2021 Junior Faculty Outstanding Research Award from Mississippi State University's Mechanical Engineering Department; and the 2017 ASME Warren M. Rohsenow Award. He serves as Associate Editor for the ASME Journal of Thermal Science and Engineering Applications since 2026, Chair of the ASME K-10 Committee on Heat Transfer Equipment, and member of the ASME K-14 Committee on Gas Turbine Heat Transfer.
