Dr Rebecca Dean is a Daphne Jackson Research Fellow in the Department of Biology at the University of Oxford. Her research combines sperm competition, ageing and sex chromosomes biology and is largely driven by an interest in sexual conflict. She is currently using comparative analyses to understand the benefits of mate choice for parental care.
She holds a BSc from the University of Exeter, an MSc from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Zoology from the University of Oxford.
