Dr. Robin Singh Bhadoria serves as an Assistant Professor Grade-II in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India, a position he has held since September 25, 2023. His academic journey began with a B.Eng in Computer Science and Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) Bhopal in 2008, followed by an M.Tech in the same discipline from RGPV Bhopal in 2011, where he earned the University Gold Medal for securing the first position at the state technological university level. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore in 2018. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Temporary Assistant Professor in the CSE Department at IIIT Bhopal from July 2018 to December 2019 and as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering and Applications at GLA University, Mathura, from September 2021 to September 2023.
Dr. Bhadoria's research interests encompass Service-Oriented Architecture, Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning, and Wireless Sensor Networks. He has authored or co-authored over 70 publications, including articles in SCI/SCOPUS-indexed journals such as Wireless Personal Communications (2023), Mobile Networks and Applications (2023), and Telematics and Informatics (2022). His edited books include "Blockchain Technology for Secure Social Media Computing" (IET Press, 2023), "Predictive Data Security using AI: Insights and Issues of Blockchain, IoT, and DevOps" (Springer, 2022), and "5G and Beyond: The Future of IoT" (CRC Press, 2021). Highly cited works from his Google Scholar profile feature "An enhanced deep image model for glaucoma diagnosis using feature-based detection in retinal fundus" (87 citations, 2021) and "An energy-efficient clustering algorithm for maximizing lifetime of wireless sensor networks using machine learning" (80 citations, 2023). He has supervised multiple PhD and M.Tech theses to completion in 2024, holds a patent, and contributes as an Academic Editor for Mobile Information Systems (Wiley) since 2023. Additionally, he has organized conferences and workshops, served on IEEE technical program committees, and currently manages administrative roles including Assistant Faculty Incharge for the Entrepreneurship Cell and Officer In-charge for the Departmental Library at NIT Hamirpur.
