Robyn Maguigan is the Personal Assistant and Executive Assistant to the Dean of the University of Otago, Christchurch campus, operating within the Division of Health Sciences. She provides comprehensive secretarial and personal assistant support to the Dean, managing administrative requirements for academic staffing matters, organising presentations, prizegivings, and other school functions, and maintaining effective liaison between the Dean, staff, students, University of Otago personnel, and external organisations and agencies. Robyn Maguigan has served multiple deans over an extended period, including Professor Peter Joyce, as noted in university newsletters and events commemorating the campus's 50th anniversary, where she was recognized for her long-term dedication to the Dean's office.
Her contributions extend to supporting research activities, including acknowledgments in University of Otago archaeology theses and co-authorship on the publication 'Action plans with brief patient education for exacerbations in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD): a randomised controlled trial' (2016).
