Rate My Professor Rodrigo Temp Müller

Rodrigo Temp Müller serves as a paleontologist and laboratory technician at the Centro de Apoio à Pesquisa Paleontológica da Quarta Colônia (CAPPA) of Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management from Universidade Federal do Pampa in 2014, followed by a master’s degree in 2016 and a doctorate in 2018 from the Graduate Program in Animal Biodiversity at UFSM. Since 2016 he has worked as Paleontology Laboratory Technician at CAPPA/UFSM and served as head of the center from 2022 to 2023. He supervises master’s and doctoral students in the Graduate Program in Animal Biodiversity at UFSM. His academic work centers on the Triassic biota of southern Brazil, with particular emphasis on the evolution and systematics of archosaurs. Müller is an editor of the Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, The Science of Nature, Journal of Anatomy, and Historical Biology. He holds a research productivity fellowship from the Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq).
