Rohana Tilakumara is affiliated with Curtin Colombo according to his Google Scholar profile. He holds the position of Senior Lecturer (Higher Grade) in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). His academic background includes a BSc Eng (Hons) from the University of Moratuwa and a PhD from the University of Bristol, UK. These qualifications are listed in official SLIIT engineering faculty booklets.
Tilakumara's research interests include communications, artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, computer vision, deep neural networks, signal processing, image and video processing, computer architecture, optical communications, and motor control, as indicated on his Google Scholar and ResearchGate profiles. He has contributed to several publications, such as 'Cyclists and Motorcyclists Detection in Traffic Video Footage' with Manusha Eeshwara and N.
