Roland G. Pourdavood serves as a professor in the School of Education and Counseling at Cleveland State University, where he has been affiliated since 1998. He specializes in mathematics education, with research interests including online teaching and learning, AI-driven learning in mathematics, teacher education, and STEM instructional experiences. Pourdavood earned his Ph.D. in Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum focused on Mathematics Education from The University of Oklahoma, his M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Central Oklahoma completed by 1996, and his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma completed by 1990. During his career, he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to the University of Port Elizabeth in South Africa for 2003-04, supporting his work in education.
