Research Interests: Cognitive construal theory, stereotype threat, goal persistence, motivation, and social cognition.

Appointments: Professor of Psychology at Columbus State Community College; Distance Learning Lead Instructor for the Psychology Department.

Awards: CSCC Distinguished Teaching Award; Honors Faculty Member of the Year Award.

Additional Contributions: Founding member of the Generation One Trailblazers faculty resource group for first-generation college students.
