Dr. Manish Kumar Sagar is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Head of the Department of Management at Madhav Institute of Technology & Science, Gwalior. He earned his Ph.D. from Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (ABV-IIITM), Gwalior, and his Master of Engineering (M.E.) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. Dr. Sagar joined the institute on October 30, 2007, and has since played a pivotal role in academic instruction, research supervision, and institutional administration. His primary academic interests lie in Supply Chain Management and Operations Management, areas where he guides research scholars and contributes to departmental advancements.

Dr. Sagar's scholarly output includes over 30 publications spanning 2009 to 2023, as documented in the institute's IRINS profile. Key publications feature co-authorship on "Multi response optimization of process parameters on AA6061 using friction stir welding" published in AIP Conference Proceedings in 2023, and "Thermo-physical characteristics of passive double slope solar still loaded with MWCNTs and Al2O3-water based nanofluid" in 2020. He is also an inventor on the granted patent "Multiple Die Manufacturing Unit" (Application Number 372339-001, published March 29, 2023). As a registered Ph.D. supervisor with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), he mentors doctoral candidates in engineering and management disciplines.
