Saithu Mohammed serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management within the Faculty of Management at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Management, specializing in Human Resource Technology, from Pondicherry University in 2023. Prior to this, he completed an MBA in International Business with a focus on International Human Resource Management from Pondicherry University in 2018, and a B.Com specializing in Co-operation from D.G.M.M.E.S Mampad College, Mampad, Kerala, in 2016. His professional experience includes a prior position as an Assistant Professor of Management at Sathyabama Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai, and a role as a soft skills trainer from March to August 2018. Recognized as a certified soft skills trainer by ASAP Kerala, Dr. Mohammed nurtures student development through case studies, real-world business scenarios, interactive discussions, online resources, and simulations to equip them for corporate roles.
Dr. Mohammed's academic interests include Organizational Behaviour, HR Technology, Talent Management, Organizational Culture, Employee Engagement, Employee Well-being, Training & Development, Cross-cultural Management, Organizational Development, and Leadership Development. His expertise covers Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Business Analytics, supported by proficiency in SPSS, SPSS Amos, RStudio, Python, Tableau, and PowerBI. Notable publications feature "A Proposal on Developing a 360° Agile Organizational Structure by Superimposing Matrix Organizational Structure with Cross-functional Teams" (Management and Labour Studies, 2020), "Covid-19: Labour Market, Unemployment and Protective Measures" (book chapter in Skill Development & Employment, 2021), "Measuring the Mental Wellbeing of E-Workers and Its Impact on E-Work Life Balance during COVID-19 Pandemic" (Psychology and Education Journal, 2021), and "Streak Ahead: HR’s role in the new normal" (Psychology and Education Journal, 2021). He maintains working papers on organizational performance via HR technology in talent acquisition and retention, and the mediating role of organizational culture in employee mental well-being and engagement.
