Dr Sally Henderson is the Academic Adviser – International and Online Learning at the Otago Business School, University of Otago. She coordinates and oversees international activities within the Otago Business School from an operational point of view. Dr Henderson assists with the development of strategy and policies relating to international engagement and oversees their implementation. She provides a liaison function between the Otago Business School and the University of Otago International Office. She also facilitates coordination within the Otago Business School itself. Dr Sally Henderson completed her doctoral studies at the University of Otago. In 2015, she produced the thesis 'Textual borrowing in an English for Academic Purposes class: Knowledge, practices and beliefs' supervised by Ian Moodie using grounded narrative inquiry. This work examined textual borrowing practices among students in an EAP setting. She is listed among postgraduate alumni from the English and Linguistics programme as an ESOL Tutor at Columba College, Dunedin. Dr Henderson has been thanked for contributions in multiple PhD theses from the University of Otago Department of English and Linguistics. She participates in university governance as a member of the University of Otago Senate, appearing in meeting attendee lists from 2023. Dr Henderson manages scholarship applications for the Otago Business School, including receipt of submissions for the Westpac Travelling Scholarship via her official email.
