About Sangeeta

Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Malik serves as Professor and Dean in the Department of Business Administration at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS), Delhi, a position she has held since joining the institution on July 6, 2009. She possesses extensive academic qualifications, including a Ph.D. in Organizational Behaviour from Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur in 1993; an MBA from Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar in 2020; an MA in Psychology from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar in 1987; a BA in Psychology from Ranchi University in 1984; and a PGDCA from Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur in 2001. With over 21 years of teaching experience as of 2021, her career encompasses roles such as resource person in faculty development programs, organizer of seminars and conferences, session chair, and presenter at national and international events. She has contributed to institutional governance as a member of the Board of Studies at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University from 2008 to 2011 and the Ethical Committee at IIHM, Dwarka, Delhi from 2013 to 2016.

Prof. Malik's research specializations lie in Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, and General Management. She has published extensively, with key works including “Ego identity attainment among teachers in relation to their sex & marital status” (1991, Journal of Indian Academy of Applied Psychology); “Managing Multi-Generational Workforce with Business Goals” (2009, MAIMS Journal of Management); “Effect of work life balance on gender and marital Status” (2015, International Journal of Science, Technology & Management); “Conceptual challenge to Understand Envy: A Review” (2016, Journal of IMS Group); “Occupational Identity among Female Teachers of Private and Government College of Delhi & NCR” (2017, IMT Case Journal); and “COVID-19 Challenges and opportunities of Education Sector in India” (2020, conference proceedings). Additionally, she co-authored the book Management Dynamics in Digitalization Era (2020). Her contributions extend to conference presentations, such as those on work-life balance, empowerment of women, and job satisfaction in the telecommunications sector. Recognized for excellence in teaching, she received the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Award (2004) and Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Memorial National Teacher Award (2015). As a recognized research guide (No. 24689/A2/2019) at Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar, she guides Ph.D. scholars and impacts the academic field through her scholarly output and leadership in educational initiatives.
