About Sanjay

Dr. Sanjay S. Dhote serves as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Hindi at Yeshwant Mahavidyalaya, Wardha. He earned his M.A. in Hindi, B.Ed., and Ph.D. in 2007 from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, where his thesis, supervised by Prof. S.M. Bundele, examined 'Rashtriya Chetana Ke Sandarbha Mein Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Ke Hindi Kavya ka Parisheelan,' analyzing national consciousness in Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj's Hindi poetry. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Project Fellow at Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. His academic interests center on Hindi literature, with publications in journals such as the Loknayak Interdisciplinary Journal (ISSN 2278-9308).

Dr. Dhote plays a pivotal role in institutional activities, organizing Faculty Development Programs featuring experts like Dr. Birpal Singh Yadav, elocution competitions sponsored by the Government of Maharashtra's Department of Marathi Language, poetry recitation events alongside heads of Marathi, English, and Hindi departments, and essay reading sessions including one on 'Social Media: Nature and Expression.' As Cultural Committee Coordinator, he led initiatives for youth festivals, sports events, and national unity day oaths. He contributed to NSS extension programs such as voluntary work at ITI Hills, Wardha, and forest plantation drives. Additionally, he served as co-convenor for the one-day national e-conference on 'Indian Economy Post Covid Scenario - Challenges and Opportunities' held by the Economics Department on October 5, 2021. He is a member of committees including anti-ragging and internal complaints, fostering student patriotism, soft skills, and cultural engagement through workshops and guest lectures.
