Sebastien Hotte is a Professor in the Department of Oncology at McMaster University and serves as Division Head of Medical Oncology. He holds an MD, an MSc in Health Research Methodology, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC). Dr. Hotte is also a staff oncologist at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and an Associate Scientist with the Escarpment Cancer Research Institute. His research interests include developmental therapeutics and Phase I trials, translational research focused on the molecular biology of human cancers, randomized controlled trials for genitourinary and head and neck malignancies, and practice guideline development with knowledge translation. He chairs the Canadian Cancer Trials Group Genito-Urinary Committee and co-chairs the Cancer Care Ontario Program for Evidence Based Care genitourinary disease site group. Dr. Hotte has authored or co-authored more than 130 peer-reviewed articles and over 220 original abstracts.
