Seema Pissaris serves as Clinical Professor in the Department of International Business within the College of Business at Florida International University. Her academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, complemented by a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. Recognized as an award-winning professor, she delivers courses across undergraduate, graduate, and executive programs, covering topics such as leadership in a global environment, entrepreneurship, global startups, strategic management, social entrepreneurship, and master's projects in international business and management.
Dr. Pissaris's research focuses on areas including corporate strategy, entrepreneurship and family business, executive compensation, leadership, social entrepreneurship, and strategic management of non-profit organizations. Her scholarly contributions feature prominently in peer-reviewed journals.
