Shelly Lewis is the Director of Administration & Finance in the Daniel J. Epstein Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering. She handles key administrative and financial responsibilities for the department, including support for faculty, staff, and students. As the designated department advisor for Industrial & Systems Engineering, she assists graduate students with academic advising, PhD research conference travel stipend applications, and serves as the academic class scheduling coordinator. Shelly Lewis was honored with the USC Viterbi Staff Early Career Award in 2018 for her exemplary service as Department Business Manager in the Daniel J. Epstein Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. She has provided essential administrative assistance for major departmental events, including the International Manufacturing Research Conference (NAMRC) in 2017, where special thanks were noted for her contributions on the administrative side, and the 20th Mixed Integer Programming Workshop in 2023, where she supplied images for the event.
