Steve Nenninger serves as Associate Professor of Finance and Smith-Hutson Endowed Professor of Banking in the Department of Finance and Banking within the College of Business Administration at Sam Houston State University. Located in the Smith-Hutson Building, Office 101C, he can be reached at (936) 294-1898. Nenninger has been a faculty member at the university since July 2009. His academic background includes a PhD from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, an MBA from Southeast Missouri State University, and a BSBA from Southeast Missouri State University. During his time as a student at Southeast Missouri State University, he held the position of Student Regent in 1991. Nenninger holds leadership roles in academic organizations, including service on the board of the Academy of Economics and Finance through 2027.
