Steve Pham serves as a Lecturer (Singapore) within the Global Curtin portfolio at Curtin University, based at the Curtin Singapore Campus. As an adjunct lecturer since June 2024, he teaches final year computer science modules under the Faculty of Science and Engineering, contributing practical industry perspectives to the curriculum. He co-teaches courses in the Bachelor of Information Technology program, including Capstone Computing Project 2 (ISAD3001) alongside Dr. Murphy Choy, as well as units related to Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Systems, Engineering Management & Professional Practice, and Fundamental Concepts of Data Security. Pham holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore. Possessing more than 18 years of professional experience in technology consulting, enterprise architecture, cloud engineering, digital transformation, and IT leadership, he imparts real-world expertise to his students. Currently, Steve Pham is the Head of Solution Architect for the Cloud Engineering and Tech Consulting Practice at Temus in Singapore. His prior roles include Manager at Deloitte Consulting starting in June 2019, where he provided technical leadership in digital solutions, and Digital Solution Architect Principal at Accenture from August 2016. Earlier, he served as CEO and Founder of a technology startup, developing the eOrder Solution—a comprehensive mobile point-of-sales system tailored for F&B and retail businesses to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manpower needs, and boost productivity. This solution integrates cloud-based inventory management, iPad eMenu self-ordering application, iPad POS application, POS hardware, web-based kitchen display system, and mobile payment capabilities. Customers browse menus and place orders via the eMenu iPad app, with orders routed directly to the kitchen display and ePOS systems. It also produces detailed sales reports enabling owners to track performance, analyze customer behavior, and optimize products and pricing strategies. Through his blended academic and industry roles, Steve Pham effectively prepares students for contemporary challenges in computing and information technology.
