Dr. Mamidi's research interests encompass energy storage devices, carbon microelectromechanical systems (CMEMS), and electrochemistry, particularly focusing on high-performance electrodes for lithium-ion, lithium-CO2, and sodium-ion batteries. He currently leads the SERB-Start-up Research Grant (SERB-SERG) project titled 'Hierarchical Electrodes: Advanced Design Strategies and Engineering for Na-ion Battery' in the Chemical Engineering Department.
