Dr. Susan George is a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Department of Physiology at the University of Otago, Faculty of Biomedical Sciences. She holds an MB BS degree from Mangalore University and joined the University of Otago in 2008. As a medical teaching fellow, Dr. George contributes to undergraduate education in physiology, supporting programs in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Physical Education, Human Nutrition, and Medical Laboratory Science. She is listed as a co-lecturer for PHSL101 Physiology for Sport and Exercise, alongside Professor Roslyn Kemp, Professor Daryl Schwenke, and Professor Rebecca Campbell. The Department of Physiology, established in 1905, is one of the largest departments at the university with approximately 100 staff members dedicated to biomedical education and research.
