Rate My Professor Svetlana Krupko

I'm currently taking her climate policy class and my experience has been a bit mixed so far. She seems like a nice person but it is a little noticeable that she might not have much teaching experience yet. She sometimes seems quite nervous when teaching, which can make the lectures feel a bit less confident. i get everyone has to start somewhere, so I don't really hold that against her. but something that I found quite disappointing was hearing from other students that she had promoted an AI product on her social media. considering that she teaches climate policy I find this a little contradictory and honestly something that doesn't sit right with me. These are topics where we discuss environmental responsibility and the impact of our choices, so seeing that kind of promotion was a bit unexpected and disappointing. yeah, I do think she seems nice, but unfortunately this has changed how I see her as a lectuer. credibility has dropped quite a bit in my eyes, and moving forward, I don't think I would choose to take another class with her. not necessarily about her being a nice person, but more about the impression and trust I have in her as an educator. leuphana smh
