About Tanisha

Ms. Tanisha Bukth is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, where she serves as Coordinator of the IBA Career Center. An alumnus of IBA, she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from the institution, achieving top scorer status in her batch for both programs. With eight years of full-time teaching experience, Bukth specializes in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Finance. Her research interests encompass behavioral biases, motivation, and management of diversity. Since 2019, she has been delivering HR training to professionals from public and private sectors through short and long management development programs at IBA. Bukth has contributed significantly to institutional development as the faculty in-charge for IBA's accreditation process by the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA), resulting in IBA becoming the first institute in Bangladesh to receive this recognition.

Bukth has authored nine publications in recognized national and international journals. Ahmed, Frontiers in Management Research, 3(1)); 'Selection Criteria and Behavioral Biases Influencing the Adoption of Islamic Banking in Bangladesh' (2018, with S. S. M. S. Huda, Journal of Business Administration, 39(2)); and 'The Soft Threat: The Story of the Bangladesh Bank Reserve Heist' (2017, with S. S. M. S. Huda, SAGE Business Cases, SAGE Publications Limited). She has received prestigious awards, including the Centennial Research Grant from the University of Dhaka for the project 'Transforming Governance through Digital Innovations: Cases from a Decade's Journey of Digital Bangladesh' and the UGC Research Fund for 'Bridging the Digital Divide Through E-Governance: The Case of Ek Sheba'.
