Rate My Professor Terry Hunt

Hunt has been prominently featured in university initiatives related to aviation infrastructure and program growth. In February 2019, following the Sunderland Foundation's $1 million pledge for Skyhaven Airport development, he attributed the program's increasing enrollment to hands-on learning opportunities and strong relationships with industry partners. The aviation programs offer bachelor's degrees in four undergraduate areas and a master's degree in aviation safety. In April 2020, as chair, he welcomed federal CARES Act funding to aid Skyhaven Airport amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Hunt participated in the October 2019 celebration of 50 years of aviation excellence at UCM, which included a fundraising banquet providing insights into the program's history. He also spoke at the September 2023 ribbon-cutting for the Max Swisher-Skyhaven Airport center, describing it as a special place. His office is TRG 210E with phone (660) 543-8092.
