About Tetsuya

Tetsuya Takahashi is a Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the Faculty of Health Science, Juntendo University. He serves as a Specially-Appointed Professor and has been affiliated with the institution since at least 2019.

His research focuses on physical therapy, with emphasis on physical function in patients with heart failure, prehabilitation and postoperative recovery in cardiac surgery, and the development of Japanese versions of digital health literacy questionnaires. He has contributed to studies examining physical function as a predictor of survival after heart failure and related topics in rehabilitation sciences.
