Thi Hoai Thu Do obtained her PhD from Curtin University in 2013. Her doctoral thesis, titled 'Curriculum planning management in higher education in Vietnam: The perspective of higher education institutions,' investigated the extent to which the views, beliefs, and attitudes of Vietnamese educators in the higher education sector are reflected in curriculum planning and management practices. The research emphasized the perspectives of higher education institutions in Vietnam. Key findings indicated a need to improve institutional autonomy and accountability to promote the effectiveness of curriculum planning management.
