Dr Tiffany Jones is a Lecturer in the School of Electrical Engineering, Computing and Mathematical Sciences within the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Curtin University. She currently serves as the unit coordinator and teaching staff for MATH1014 Foundations of Calculus during Semester 2, 2024 at the Bentley Perth Campus. Her office is located in Building 314, Room 123. Dr Jones has received recognition for her contributions to teaching, earning a commendation in the Curtin Student Guild Excellence in Teaching Awards for the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
Dr Jones completed her PhD at Curtin University under the supervision of Associate Professor Louis Caccetta. Her doctoral research focused on mathematical modelling of cancer growth, leading to the publication 'Optimisation modelling of cancer growth' in Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems - Series B in 2017. This work demonstrates her expertise in optimisation modelling and computational approaches to biological systems.
