Rate My Professor Troy Miller

Troy Miller serves as Assistant Professor of Engineering and Program Director of the Construction Management program in the Department of Engineering at Colorado Mesa University, a role he assumed in January 2013. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University in 1999 and a Master of Science degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University in 2004. For his master's thesis, titled "A Paradigmatic Method for Decision Support in Construction Management," Miller explored the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for estimating and 4D simulations to aid construction managers in decision-making. Before joining Colorado Mesa University, Miller taught as a Professor of Construction Management at Brigham Young University-Idaho from January 2004 to December 2013, delivering courses such as Building Information Modeling, Construction Estimating, Construction Project Management, Advanced Estimating & Bidding, and Construction Scheduling. Earlier, he served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Colorado State University, instructing Construction Estimating.
