Umera Imtinan is a Lecturer in Information Technology at the School of Information Technology, Murdoch University. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Information Systems from Curtin University, with her doctoral thesis titled 'A mobile learning framework for universities in Pakistan,' completed in 2014. Her academic background also includes a Certificate in Teaching and Learning, earning her Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), UK, from Murdoch University between 2020 and 2021. Prior to her current role, Imtinan was associated with Curtin University during her PhD studies and has experience from positions at RMIT Online. As a dedicated educator, she teaches units such as IT Professional Practice and ICT521, focusing on practical skills in information technology and business analytics.
