Rate My Professor Urvesh Chaudhery

Prof. (Dr.) Urvesh Chaudhery is Professor of the Centre of Management Studies, NAAC & IQAC Coordinator, and Program Coordinator at Gitarattan International Business School, New Delhi, India. She holds a PhD in Human Resources from Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida. With more than 27 years of experience in software development, academics, projects, and placements, she has worked on 18 software projects, including a major project on Material Requirement Planning (MRP) for Indication Instruments Pvt. Ltd., Faridabad, which involved Bill of Material, Purchase, Receiving and Inspection, Stores, Production Planning and Control, and Dispatch of goods. Her areas of expertise include Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources, Entrepreneurship Development, and Research Methodology.

Dr. Chaudhery has authored three books: “Organisation Behaviour and Management Process,” “Research Methodology & Quantitative Techniques,” and “Consumer Behaviour.” She has also published six edited books and 55 research papers in national and international journals. Five students have completed their PhDs under her guidance. She has presented papers in 35 national and international conferences, chaired more than 12 such conferences, and organized three national conferences, three international conferences, a national-level case folio competition and presentation, and several webinars. She serves as a member of the advisory board of Sharda University, Associate Editor and Editor of the UGC-approved New Era Journal and the blind peer-reviewed Primax Journal, and a paper reviewer for Inder Science Management Journal. A lifetime member of the Society of Management and Behavioural Sciences (SMBS), INSPIRA, and MTC Global, she is the regional coordinator for Haryana for SMBS. Her accolades include the “Best Professor Award” by International Lions Club Society on International Teachers' Day in 2018, “Best Professor Award” by ESN Research Foundation in 2019, “ACHARYA 2021 & 2022” awards on 5th September 2021 and 2022, and the PEACE AWARD by the Commissioner of Faridabad for her contributions during the COVID-19 period.
