About V.

Dr. V. Vivek serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Renganayagi Varatharaj College of Engineering, Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. His academic qualifications include a B.Tech., M.E., and Ph.D. His areas of specialization are Digital Image Processing, Neural Networks, and IoT. With 8 years and 4 months of teaching experience and 3 years and 8 months of research experience, he has instructed undergraduate courses such as GE3151 Problem Solving and Python Programming, CS3251 Data Structures and its Algorithms, CS8791 Mobile Computing, CS3351 Operating Systems, and EC8691 Microprocessor and Microcontroller.

Dr. Vivek maintains a robust research profile, evidenced by 2 publications in SCI-indexed journals, 11 in Scopus-indexed journals, and 8 in UGC-approved journals. He is a professional member of ICSES and IEANG and contributes as an editor and reviewer for more than eight international publications. Dr. Vivek has actively engaged in professional development, participating in 9 Faculty Development Programs, 2 Faculty Enrichment Programs, 17 workshops, 22 seminars, 9 conferences, and 4 symposia. He also served as Co-Convener for the ICRTSEM 2025 conference organized by the college.
