Rate My Professor Vengamanaidu Modepalli

Dr Vengamanaidu Modepalli is a Lecturer in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Bristol. He holds a BTech, an MSc and a PhD. His academic background includes previous roles as Anne Warner Research Fellow at the Marine Biological Association and he serves as Director of the MSc Bioinformatics programme. Dr Modepalli’s research focuses on the evolutionary origins of microRNAs-mediated post-transcriptional regulation in the animal kingdom and the evolution of nervous systems through studies of small RNA. He leads an active research group supported by BBSRC funding and supervises postgraduate students in evolutionary biology.
