About Vik
Vik Murty serves as Assistant Professor and Director of Technology Strategy in the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universidad del Desarrollo. He holds an MBA from Babson College in the United States and a BSc in Business from Bentley University in the United States. In addition to his teaching and research roles within Business & Economics, Vik Murty acts as Director of Curriculum Impact in the Vicerrectoría de Innovación y Desarrollo at Universidad del Desarrollo. He founded and directs the Master of Business Technology program at the university, where he has shaped technology-focused curricula for over a decade. His instructional responsibilities include courses such as Marketing I in English, Tech and Innovation, Customer Experience, Business Innovation and Technology Strategy, and Marketing II. Vik Murty maintains professional interests in product launch strategies, marketing technology, and the intersection of business practices with emerging technologies. Throughout his career at Universidad del Desarrollo, he has contributed to academic programs that integrate innovation and technology strategy into business education. His work emphasizes practical applications in business innovation and technology strategy, supporting students and faculty in adapting to evolving market demands. Vik Murty brings extensive experience from prior roles in technology marketing and management to his current positions, fostering connections between academic research and industry practices in Business & Economics.
