About Vipin
Dr Vipin Nadda serves as Senior Lecturer and Programme Manager for BSc Tourism & Hospitality, BSc Events and FdA Tourism programmes in the Department of Tourism, Hospitality and Events at the University of Sunderland in London. He holds a PhD and possesses more than twenty years of experience in the tourism and hospitality sector, including collaborative research and consultancy work. His research specializations encompass tourism, hospitality, marketing, sustainable development, social media marketing, customer relationship management and services marketing.
Throughout his career, Dr Nadda has contributed numerous publications, including chapters and books such as Marketing Innovation in Tourism (2019), Role of Social Media in Tourism (2015), and recent works on sustainable practices, AI in tourism, blockchain applications, regenerative tourism, and governance for sustainable development. He has also authored articles on topics including Airbnb impacts, glamping tourism, ecotourism, and destination attributes in journals such as the International Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Systems. Dr Nadda maintains active involvement in academic publishing and research focused on digital innovation, community engagement, and economic aspects of tourism and hospitality.
