W. van der Valk is the NEVI Professor of Purchasing & Supply Chain Management (2020-2026) and Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management at Tilburg School of Economics and Management, Tilburg University, where she also serves as Interim Head of the department. She earned her PhD in Business Administration, specializing in organizational science, from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, in 2007, and a Master’s degree from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2003.
